First of all we both would like to thank Top Rink Bowls for what was a short relationship, sadly it can be tough to be a bowls retailer and so it proved for the lads as they sadly called time on their venture
However we are delighted to announce that Bowls Wear Direct have agreed to become our new competition sponsor. This is quite a touching one for both of us as our dearly missed mate Norman Routledge used to be General Manager and was a well recognised face at Worthing & Leamington for the national championships.

Bowlswear Direct is a family run business and has been the leading supplier to bowlers across Britain and the World for over twenty five years. In 2016 Chris Young and his brother Pete bought the business and moved the shop in its entirety to a new and improved premises within the Wey Valley Indoor Bowling Club in Guildford, Surrey.
Chris is one of the top bowlers in England having reached the World Indoor Pairs Final and Quarter Final of the World Indoor Singles at Potters narrowly losing to Alex Marshall MBE on a tie-break. He has represented England at all levels both Indoors and Outdoors across the world with a highlight being playing in the 3 man test series in Australia with former World champion Mervyn King.
Chris and Pete had worked for Bowlswear Direct since 2001 and between them have a vast experience in the world of bowls retail and so are well positioned to advise on all bowling needs. We specialise in club visits having visited over three hundred clubs last year.
